To the VAMED VitalityClub

VAMED VitalityClub is one of the most popular premium customer clubs in Austria. And for good reason: Depending on the bonus level (CLASSIC, SILVER or GOLD), members get VitalityClub PLUS benefits every time they visit a VAMED Vitality World spa and health resort! Members use the VitalityClub app to conveniently book exclusive VitalityClub offers, collect VitalityClub points and convert them to VitalityClub vouchers that are valid at any resort – for example, for the popular Relax! One Day Holiday, admissions to the spa, massages and hotel stays.

By having their bills charged to their VitalityClub card, VitalityClub members collect points every time they visit. For every euro spent, the member receives 5 VitalityClub points. Collected points can be exchanged for VitalityClub vouchers, which are valid for various benefits (spa passes, hotel stays, etc.) offered by VAMED Vitality World spa and health resorts. In addition, VitalityClub members are able to book exclusive VitalityClub offers and get unique VitalityClub PLUS benefits every time they visit. Benefits are determined by the bonus level and refer to a billing period of 36 months:

VitalityClub membership

Registration is possible directly at the resort via the VitalityClub tablet available there. A cellphone number is required to receive the verification code that will be sent via SMS upon registration.

Any person above the age of 18 may register for the VAMED VitalityClub. An adult person is the sole owner of their VitalityClub profile; joint use (e.g. as a family group) is not possible. VitalityClub cards are therefore non-transferable. 

To register at the VitalityClub you have to be at least 18 years of age.

Membership of the VitalityClub is only open to adults aged 18 or over. If proof of age is required, members must be prepared to show a valid photo ID.

Membership is required to take advantage of VitalityClub benefits. During the registration process, a VitalityClub card in check card format can be ordered if desired. The digital VitalityClub card is additionally available in the VitalityClub app. 

If a VitalityClub card has been ordered during registration, it is usually delivered within 3 weeks. The digital VitalityClub card is available immediately in the VitalityClub app on the smartphone.

The VitalityClub card number is located on the back of your VitalityClub card, below the barcode, starting with the number 9.
In the VitalityClub app, you can find your card number in "Club Card," also below the barcode. 

No, there are neither minimum sales nor commitment periods. VitalityClub membership can be canceled at any time, without giving reasons, in writing (by letter or email) or by the member in the VitalityClub app.

None whatsoever. Membership is free.

All VitalityClub correspondence is conducted in German and English. The GTCs are available in German and English. 

As of April 1, 2022, each partner card holder will get their own VitalityClub profile. The bonus level of the main card holder will apply. VitalityClub PLUS benefits (= benefits at the given bonus level) can therefore continue to be used. The currently available VitalityClub points from the VitalityClub profile of the main card holder will not be transferred. Jointly collecting points will no longer be possible, though the existing VitalityClub cards can continue to be used. 

The “bonus for new registration” is 200 VitalityClub points and they are credited upon initial registration with VAMED VitalityClub. The 200 points are automatically credited to the VitalityClub profile.

In any case, you need a VitalityClub card, which you have to show every time you visit a VAMED Vitality World resort. You can either use your physical plastic card or the mobile VitalityClub card in your VitalityClub app. All VitalityClub cards (also partner cards) are still valid. Partner cards have been linked to independent profiles since the changeover.

In the new VAMED VitalityClub there are no partner cards anymore. Every visitor has to show his personal VitalityClub card (physical plastic card or mobile in the app) to benefit from VitalityClub-PLUS, VitalityClub offers and VitalityClub vouchers.

Tell your friends about the VAMED VitalityClub! For every new member who registers via your invitation link, you will receive 200 VitalityClub points as soon as the person visits a VAMED Vitality World resort for the first time. You can refer up to 5 friends.

If you invite new members to the VitalityClub via the VitalityClub app, you will receive 200 VitalityClub points as a thank you as soon as your friend visits one of our resorts. You can refer up to 5 friends. Important: the app must be downloaded directly via the download link you sent!

VitalityClub points

All transactions are taken into account (as per invoice receipts), as long as they are not excluded from the reward scheme and as long as the VitalityClub card was shown at the spa check-in desk or at hotel reception during check-in/check-out. Members receive 5 VitalityClub points for every €1 spent at a VAMED Vitality World resort. 

According to the GTC, VitalityClub members do not receive VitalityClub points for the following transactions:
- Six-month & annual memberships and membership fees
- External services within the hotels and spas of participating resorts (e.g. store purchases, hairdresser, medical services where these are provided by external partners, outsourced treatments, additional services such as ski passes, Greenfee...) 
- Purchase of vouchers
- Out-of-pocket expenses (cab, cash display...)
- Local taxes, tips
- Events (except private parties that are paid for by the person making the booking)
- Reduced rates and stays booked through a tour operator, insurances, agencies, other intermediaries, insurances or through external online booking platforms, and contractually agreed special rates

Certain transactions do not attract points. These include season tickets (half and full year) and vouchers, which are already heavily discounted.

1 (full) euro spent = 5 points                               

The points balance is calculated from the total VitalityClub points collected. The sum of VitalityClub points collected over the previous 36 months determines your bonus level. 

Available VitalityClub points can be redeemed for VitalityClub vouchers (for e.g. admission to the spa, hotel stays, massages) in the VitalityClub app on your smartphone, in the web app and on the VitalityClub tablets at the resort. They are valid at all  VAMED Vitality World spa and health resorts. There is no cash equivalent. You can find an overview here. 

Points expire 36 months after they were first credited (= credited on the VitalityClub account). 

Only transactions not excluded from the reward scheme according to the VitalityClub GTC can be retroactively credited as per invoice receipt. The respective invoice receipt must be marked "For subsequent booking" by the issuing resort. Transactions based on a credit card receipt can NOT be retrospectively credited.

It is possible to exchange available VitalityClub points for one of the offered vouchers from registration for the VitalityClub, provided that sufficient points are shown in the VitalityClub profile. There is no cash equivalent.

No, it is not possible to buy points.

No, you can exchange available VitalityClub points for VitalityClub vouchers at any time. It does not affect the VitalityClub points you have accumulated for the bonus level; calculation of the bonus level is independent of the redeemed points. The total VitalityClub points ACCUMULATED over the previous 36 months are used for this purpose. Also under "Bonus level"

Yes, giving away available VitalityClub points is possible if a purchase has been made at one of our resorts - exceptionally via the VitalityClub app.

In the VitalityClub app, you will find the menu item "Send points" under "More".  Here you select the desired number of points and send them via a common messenger service (e.g. SMS, WhatsApp etc.) to a recipient of your choice. Points can only be send if a purchase has been made at one of our resorts. The other person must also be a member of the VAMED VitalityClub to receive the points.

To receive VitalityClub points from a friend you need to be a member of VAMED VitalityClub and have the VitalityClub-App installed on your smartphone. If someone sends VitalityClub points to you, you will  receive a link (e.g. via SMS, WhatsApp, etc.). Follow the instructions on your display. You will receive a notification as soon as the points have been credited to your VitalityClub account.

The payment of your invoice at the resort starts the crediting process. It can take up to 3 days for your VitalityClub points to be credited to your profile. If no points have been credited to your VitalityClub account after this time, please open the "Add points" menu in your VitalityClub app, select the resort you visited and upload a scan or photo of your invoice. Your invoice will be checked and the points rebooked within 10 days. A subsequent booking is possible within 3 months of the invoice date.

Open your app and select the menu item "send invoice receipt" under "More". Select the resort and indicate whether you were a guest at the hotel or spa. In the "Upload area", please upload a photo or scan of your bill. 

It is important that the receipt is complete and clearly legible. 

Misuse will result in exclusion from the VAMED VitalityClub. Subsequent bookings are possible within 3 months of the invoice date. 

You can view your points in the VitalityClub app on your smartphone and in the web app. 

- When points are credited during a stay at a resort (please show your VitalityClub card every time you visit): The invoice amount is transferred to your VitalityClub card. The resulting points will normally appear on your VitalityClub profile on the following day. 

- When points are added retrospectively i.e. after uploading your invoice receipt in the mobile app: The resulting points will appear on your VitalityClub approximately 10 days after the upload. 

If you have forgotten your VitalityClub card, please keep your receipt! Open the "Add points" menu in your VitalityClub app, select the resort you visited and upload a scan or photo of your invoice. Your invoice will be checked and the points rebooked within around 10 days. A subsequent booking is possible within 3 months of the invoice date.

You can also send an email to the resort you visited. Please add a scan of the invoice and your VitalityClub card number.

You can redeem your points for VitalityClub vouchers in the VitalityClub app on your smartphone, in the web app and directly at the spa desk at every resort. 

"Accumulated VitalityClub points for bonus level" are used to calculate your bonus level (CLASSIC, SILVER, GOLD) over the period of 36 month. "Available VitalityClub points" are points that can be exchanged for VitalityClub vouchers. 

VitalityClub vouchers

It depends on the voucher: 

Hotel vouchers
- Overnight stay for 2 persons: 28,000 points
- Overnight stay for 1 person: 17,600 points
- Second person free of charge in room: 14,000 points

Spa vouchers
- Spa day ticket: 1,800 points
- 3-hour spa ticket: 1,300 points
- 1+1 free spa ticket: 1,100 points
- Sauna upgrade: 800 points
- 25-minute massage: 4,700 points
- Relax! One Day Holiday 6,900 points

Voucher
- €10 voucher: 2,500 points

VitalityClub vouchers are valid for one year from the date of activation (this is the date when the required number of points has been converted into a VitalityClub voucher). The date of expiration is stated on each VitalityClub voucher. 

In the VitalityClub app, all 10 VitalityClub vouchers are listed under "Benefits". If the required number of VitalityClub points is available, you can activate your desired voucher. The activated voucher is saved in "Your activated vouchers & offers" until it is redeemed.

VitalityClub vouchers can be activated in the VitalityClub app (by exchanging them for available VitalityClub points). Vouchers are saved in "Your activated vouchers & offers” in the VitalityClub app. They can be opened in the app and shown at the spa counter or at hotel reception when you check in. If you’re not using the VitalityClub app, your vouchers can be activated via the web app and validated at the spa counter or hotel reception by a member of staff.

Since VitalityClub vouchers are activated in the VitalityClub app, you can present them using your smartphone at the spa counter or when you check in at a hotel. Printing VitalityClub vouchers is neither necessary nor possible.
Alternatively, vouchers can be activated in the web app, so that they are visible to the member of staff when scanning the VitalityClub card at the spa counter or hotel reception. 

No, exchange for cash, refunds and transfers of VitalityClub vouchers are not possible. 

No, there are no refunds for any services and treatments covered by the VitalityClub voucher that were not used. There is no cash equivalent.

Your VitalityClub vouchers can be redeemed in VAMED Vitality World’s spa and health resorts. Cash replacement, refunds and exchanges are not possible. The voucher cannot be combined with other offers and discounts. The terms and conditions of the VAMED Vitality World resort accepting the voucher apply. Vouchers are non-transferable and can only be redeemed by the VitalityClub account holder. Please also note the voucher-specific redemption conditions.

Bookings during traditionally busy times of the year, such as public holidays, bridge days and Austrian school vacations are excluded. Please inquire in advance at the resort of your choice whether it is possible to redeem a voucher at the desired time. For hotel vouchers, written confirmation from the resort that has accepted the voucher is required. By activating this VitalityClub voucher, you accept the conditions for redeeming the voucher.

There is a range of VitalityClub vouchers that can be redeemed at any VAMED Vitality World resort. You can view your points in the VitalityClub app on your smartphone and in the web app.

Exclusive VitalityClub offers

Exclusive VitalityClub offers are offers that only VAMED VitalityClub members can use and which are valid at all VAMED Vitality World spa and health resorts.  

Each exclusive VitalityClub offer includes either a link so you can directly book the offer online, or a contact number for the respective resort, which you can contact. If you contact the resort directly, please provide the voucher code (visible once the voucher is activated). 

No, exclusive VitalityClub offers can only be redeemed by the member him/herself. 

Yes, the VitalityClub card or the digital card in the VitalityClub app must be shown at the resort when claiming your exclusive VitalityClub offer. 

As a member of the VAMED VitalityClub, you benefit with every stay: Book your vacation at a VAMED Vitality World resort directly via the VitalityClub app or the web portal and you will receive between 5 and 15 percent discount on the current daily rate (depending on the resort and time of booking)! Please note the redemption conditions.

You can reach a higher bonus level by earning points. This expires at the earliest after 36 months if the required number of points for the bonus level was not reached in that period.

A VitalityClub-PLUS is valid for 30 days from activation in the app or web app and cannot be extended. Tip: Only activate your VitalityClub PLUS on the day of your visit, preferably directly in the VitalityClub mobile app!

VitalityClub members at bonus level GOLD and SILVER have the opportunity to "Upgrade to Relax! Day Holiday Classic" once a year. 

To guarantee you a lounger in the Relax! One Day Holiday area, please make a reservation before your visit. Important: You only pay on site!

To redeem, simply activate the VitalityClub-PLUS in the mobile app or web app and present the (digital) VitalityClub card at the spa desk. Please note the redemption conditions!

The applicable bonus level color can be seen in the VitalityClub app (in your profile), on the digital VitalityClub card, in the web app and in the VitalityClub newsletter.

You can view your current bonus level (CLASSIC - SILVER - GOLD) in the VitalityClub app on your smartphone and in the web app. All VitalityClub members who have provided an email address will also be notified by email when they have reached a new bonus level. 

VitalityClub app

The VitalityClub app is the digital club for all VAMED VitalityClub members. It means that you always have the VitalityClub functions and benefits as well as your digital VitalityClub card with you. You can conveniently book exclusive holiday and spa packages, easily manage your VitalityClub profile, collect VitalityClub points and redeem them for VitalityClub vouchers at any VAMED Vitality World resort and much more. 
The VitalityClub app is a native app for iOS and Android operating systems. Alternatively, the web app is available.

Download the VitalityClub app to your smartphone. By verifying your phone number and adding your VitalityClub card number and date of birth, your existing profile will be linked, and you can collect points and get VitalityClub benefits as usual. More information can be found below. 

The VitalityClub app can be downloaded from the Google Play store and from the App store.

You can only use the VitalityClub app as a member. When you log in, you can register for VAMED VitalityClub as a new member.
