Welcome to Oberlaa, located at the green outskirts of Vienna yet only 5 kilometres from St. Stephen's Cathedral!
The Oberlaa Kurpark makes for a pleasant green escape. Together with the Laa Forest and the Wienerberggründen, these million-square-metre parklands form one of the most important recreation areas for the people living in Vienna’s south and complement the forest and meadow belt around the city. With a great number of attractions including the Allergy Garden, the baroque Fountain Garden, the Flower Maze etc. the park offers plenty of opportunities for summertime fun. For children there are a Skate Land, a playground and a petting zoo as well as many recreational opportunities.
Throughout the year we offer guided Nordic walking tours through the Oberlaa Kurpark. Our coach will teach you the right walking techniques, poles can be rented at the Wellness Park. Depending on the season we also offer other outdoor sports.
Sweeten your visit to the Thermalbad Oberlaa with some mouthwatering pastries of the Oberlaa confectionery. Lovers of authentic local food will find plenty of bucolic “Heurigen” wine taverns and cozy inns nearby.
